16 Personality Types in Our Story Games
Four pairs, sixteen possible combinations
The game uses four familiar preference pairs: E/I, S/N, T/F and J/P. One letter from each pair forms a four-letter result. The sixteen possible combinations give each story its sixteen personality codas.
E / I: thinking with others or privately
These choices distinguish working out a response through exchange with other people from first forming a view in private. A quiet person can enjoy conversation, and a private reflection may still lead to speaking.
S / N: recorded details or possible explanations
These choices compare close attention to observable details with exploring patterns, interpretations and possibilities. Imagining an explanation does not make it a fact; observing a detail does not settle its meaning.
T / F: shared standards or individual circumstances
These choices explore whether a decision starts from a consistent principle or from the needs and circumstances of particular people. Both approaches can be thoughtful and caring.
J / P: a settled plan or room to adapt
These choices consider how much to decide in advance and how much to leave open to new information. Flexibility does not cancel established safety constraints, and a plan can still include review points.
Your letters are a reflection, not a verdict
Each complete story contains three votes for each pair. The majority selects that letter for the story’s ending; it does not measure a scientifically established trait. Try different stories and read the accompanying prose rather than treating four letters as a complete account of yourself.
